I’ve always been drawn to art and creation. For years, I explored different mediums, searching for the one I would master, the one that truly felt like mine. But as life unfolded, balancing a career and a growing family took priority, and my creative practice slowly faded into the background.

Everything shifted once my son reached toddlerhood. We made time for art, and I watched as he explored. It was messy, joyful, and without hesitation. Seeing him create so freely brought me back to my own love for the therapeutic nature of making. Little by little, my art supply stash emerged from the closet, and before long, unfinished pieces in every medium filled our home. My desire to explore and create became a priority once again.

With a master’s degree in education and years of classroom experience, I’ve seen that the most meaningful learning happens when we have the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and follow our curiosity. After the birth of my second son, I knew I wanted to return to teaching, but I felt drawn to a different kind of classroom—one that blended my love for exploring art mediums and learning alongside young minds, while also creating space for adults to reconnect with the sense of joy that comes from creating. That vision became Two Suns Art Studio + MakerSpace.
